SAS Programming Expertise

A Long History of Knowledge Sharing

You are looking for SAS programming expertise to train you team and help it in its data management and reporting activities.

xxformat GmbH has developed solid expertise in SAS programming (up to the current version SAS 9.4) by working with solutions from the two major players in the market, SAS Institute (the long-standing player) and Altair with its Altair SLC engine.

As an independent player, xxformat GmbH supports its clients in an approach focused on operational needs rather than the technologies of market players.

My name is Véronique. When starting my career as SAS programmer professional in 2006, I created a SAS programming blog in French (sasreference.fr) to share my discoveries about the language.

At that time already, Sébastien Ringuedé, author of the book “SAS, Inroduction pratique : du data management au reporting” referenced my worked in his book:

10-Year Experience in Clinical Research

During the first 10 years of my career in clinical research, I used SAS to map study data, develop macros to check the quality of the data and automate activities. I also developed tools and processes to standardize the maintenance of CDISC standard (metadata, codelist…), create TFL, and so on.

Deriving Resources to Respond to a Wide Range of Needs

Starting in 2017, I developed extensive training resources in SAS programming  for data engineering and reporting activities for xxformat GmbH.

Here are the three main training resources:

  • WeCode Companion, a resource consisting of 16 modules comprising over 1,500 pages of short, reproducible, and annotated examples presented in a structured manner, as well as additional resources such as short videos, resources for lunch-and-learn sessions, a practical project, and tip sheets.
  • MailLib, a solution for receiving exercises by email. With hundreds of exercises available in its database, this technology offers your team the opportunity to learn something new every day.
  • GoGoGraph Premium, a workshop for programmers and biostatisticians who want to understand and implement the seven key concepts for creating custom graphs. The workshop can be held in person (two days) or online.

Leave me a message on Linkedin, send me an email, or book a call to discuss your training project.
